skating is something i must deal with
being more than just a dance in which i express myself
no that is in the background
what is in the foreground is a medium in which i feel comfortable
performing motions that foster solidity
in my actions, in my life, in my thinking
i need to deal with it in that
it is in my mind
as a virtual escape from the seemingly elusive problem solving of life
yet it is in reality
something just as hard
more than just a dance
a place where i can go to conquer
and now in this peerless world
conquer without the relaxed ease and support of
laid back praise in that idylic and sweatless world of old.
